"I have no qualms with Christianity itself. Most of the parables of Jesus are universal truths about suffering and overcoming disadvantages, the same morals that can be found in a Greek tragedy. However, it's the dogma, the biblical law, the strain and the weight of order and social class that suspends my disbelief. No longer do people see the morals that Jesus has to teach, but the things that separate them from other faiths. In that sense, it becomes nothing more than another form of groupthink for the masses. Religion itself is now ironic, in that a humanist gets spit on for believing in the same universal philosophies that Jesus taught, without believing that he really did turn water into wine."

This pretty much describes what I believe. So think twice before judging me, or any other secular humanist, as godless and evil, or that we hate Christianity.
